Spent a great 3 days in Queen Creek and took around 38,000 photos over the 3 day weekend. We had some amazing weather and we saw some pretty fast runs. It all started off on Friday Night. The Beautiful Barrels “Alopecia Awareness” Race was a lot of fun and raised some awareness for a great cause. Here is a photo of the buckle winners.

Saturday it was an early start but I had plenty of coffee and was ready to go. It was the first time setting up the tent in Queen Creek so I had to get there early. It was nice to have some help! Thank you Tyra for helping me unload.
Had a great day and I took about 13,000 shots and had to adjust about 6 times because of the sun. Think I broke every rule in the photography rule book but the pics still came out great. This was the first time that I shot in the daytime with riders in dress code. I need to do this more. Didn’t realize how good the photos looked until I got to see them on the computer. Many riders opted into the $20 per run package and while it took me a while to get all the photos uploaded they have all been delivered.
While the riders were signing up many took time to browse through the 8 x 10’s we have printed. Next year will be a lot more but if you stop by the tent there is a folder with some pretty cool shots. Is yours in there?
Speaking of barrel racing photos, do you want to see them? As I am writing this Friday and Saturday are uploaded and I am doing Sunday now but some are up.
